For immediate response, please send WORD resume to [email protected] Position: TRAVEL Telecommunications Technicians (4-6 OPENINGS) Locations: New Mexico and Arizona (ideally would like candidates in these states) PAY RATE: $36.43/hr. **Brand New 7 Year Contract** | PAID HOLIDAYS | PTO PLAN | Reimbursement on all travel, food, & lodging MUST HAVES: Authorized to work in the US| High School & 3+ Years of Experience Experience with cabling, splicing, and telecom experience ISP and OSP experience Duties may include, but are not limited to: Pull cable or fiber optic cable by hand to string lines between existing appliances, auxiliary equipment and/or terminal boxes as assigned on a new project basis. Running routine tests on telecommunications systems to ensure that all components are functioning at optimal levels. Performing diagnostic testing on problematic telecommunications systems to identify and resolve various technical faults. Checking all wiring work done to ensure that there are no exposed cables. Work cooperatively with other employees, government agencies and other industry partners. Requirements : Proven experience working as a telecommunications technician. Sound knowledge of telecommunications systems. Ability to work in various physical conditions such as heights and confined spaces. Perform physical work personally. A detail-oriented disposition. Public Trust Clearance Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Ability to understand and follow standard operating policies and procedures. Ability to read and understand blueprints and specifications. Ability to perform duties in a professional manner and appearance. Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures. Ability to work under time pressure and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude. Effective oral and written communication skills required for the position. Ability to be self-motivated, proactive and an effective team player. Ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of employees, both management and staff alike, vendors, clients, and others. Strong persuasive and interpersonal skills. Ability to identify and meet customer's needs, expectations, and requirements. Demonstrates expertise in commercial low voltage systems installation and field management. Must be a self-starter and a problem solver. Must possess the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of specific variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
