Talent Acquisition Specialist

Summary:

Our Talent Acquisition Specialist is an experienced recruiter responsible for attracting a pool of qualified and capable talent for Altamira-US, LLC. The ideal candidate will execute strategic recruiting initiatives that align with the organization’s growth objectives by leveraging their deep understanding of the market, strong networking abilities, and proven track record of successful placements. They will collaborate closely with hiring managers to ensure a smooth and efficient hiring process. They will source candidates through various channels, conducting in-depth interviews, evaluating qualifications, and managing candidate relationships to maintain a robust talent pipeline.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Recruitment:
  • Develop and implement target recruitment strategies aligned with business needs and hiring goals.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential talent pools and emerging trends.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements and develop detailed job descriptions and competencies.

  • Candidate Sourcing:
  • Proactively source qualified candidates through various channels including job boards, professional networks, social media, employee referrals, etc.
  • Utilize advanced sourcing techniques to identify passive candidates.
  • Build and maintain a robust talent pipeline for future hiring needs.

Attend industry conferences, college job fairs and other recruiting events.

  • Candidate Screening and Evaluation:
  • Conduct initial phone screens to assess candidate qualifications and fit.
  • Conduct and schedule in-depth interviews with potential candidates, and assist hiring manager in evaluating technical skills, experience, cultural fit, and potential contribution.
  • Utilize assessment tools and reference checks to verify candidate information.

  • Candidate Management:
  • Manage candidate relationships throughout the recruitment process, providing timely updates and addressing inquiries.
  • Effectively communicate candidate feedback to hiring managers.
  • Coordinate interview schedules and logistics with hiring teams.
  • Present compelling job offers to selected candidates, including supporting the hiring manager with salary negotiation.
  • Support the onboarding process to ensure a positive candidate experience.

  • Metrics and Reporting:
  • Track key recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill, source of hire, and hiring manager satisfaction.
  • Analyze recruitment and retention data to identify areas for improvement and optimize recruitment strategies.

Education, experience and skills required :

Bachelor’s Degree in related technical and/or human resources field.

At least 5 years’ experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist or Recruiter in the professional services area, preferably, Engineering and Sciences

3 years’ proven experience in managing full-cycle recruitment across various roles and industries.

  1. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
  2. Strong sourcing capabilities through diverse channels including LinkedIn, job boards, and networking
  3. Ability to build relationships with hiring managers and stakeholders
  4. Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools
  5. Deep understanding of labor laws and compliance requirements

Certificates, licenses and registrations preferred:

SHRMs Talent Acquisition Specialty Credential or other Professional Recruiter Certification, CSMR-Certified Social And New Media Recruiter.
