We're looking for a dynamic Supply Chain Manager to join our innovative team and lead our vendor and inventory management efforts. This is a remote role that offers a chance to shape our supply chain processes and support our growing business.
What You'll Do:
Vendor & Inventory Management: Take charge of managing vendors, overseeing inventory, and handling materials and equipment purchasing. Your role will be pivotal in optimizing our supply chain operations.
Cost Reduction: Implement strategies to minimize expenses by ensuring vendors adhere to negotiated pricing and volume rebates, guiding branches to use preferred vendors, and sharing best practices for purchasing and logistics.
Policy & Procedure Development: Establish and implement policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all aspects of purchasing, receiving, warehouse operations, vehicle materials, and maintenance. Ensure these practices are adopted across all branches and new acquisitions.
Efficient Technician Support: Foster a culture of efficiency by ensuring technicians receive the materials they need promptly, minimizing opportunity costs and enhancing operational effectiveness.
What We're Looking For:
HVAC Experience: Previous experience in HVAC, preferably with OEM or distributor backgrounds, is essential.
Vendor Management Expertise: Proven track record in managing vendor relationships and optimizing procurement processes.
