Tesla is in need of Sr. Mechanical Engineers to design propulsion motors from concept to high volume production, while increasing energy and cost efficiencies. Responsibilities 3D CAD and 2D drawings for stators, rotors, speed sensing and interconnect assemblies Driving choices and development in: winding technology, magnet technology, steel stamping and lamination joining, electrical insulation systems, interconnections, thermal sensing.
