Position: Senior Engineer, BD Excellence

Direct Recruit Agency is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineer to join our BD Excellence team. As a leader in the recruitment industry, we are committed to providing our clients with the best talent available and are seeking a driven individual to help us achieve this goal.

Responsibilities:

- Lead the BD Excellence team in developing and implementing strategies to attract top engineering talent

- Collaborate with the recruitment team to identify and target key candidates for open positions

- Conduct thorough interviews and assessments to ensure candidates meet the necessary qualifications and cultural fit

- Develop and maintain relationships with engineering professionals and industry organizations to expand our network

- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments to inform recruitment strategies

- Act as a mentor and coach to junior team members, providing guidance and support in their recruitment efforts

- Work closely with clients to understand their specific needs and provide tailored recruitment solutions

- Monitor and analyze recruitment data to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for process enhancements

- Represent the company at industry events and conferences to promote our brand and attract top talent

- Continuously evaluate and improve recruitment processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness

- Active member of Focused Improvement component team.

- Develop and grow problem-solvingthe capability at all levels.

- Support implementation of CI projects across all dimensions of SQDC.

- Help coordinate the activity of component teams and focused improvement project teams to eliminate loss, according to strategic goals.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field

- Previous experience in implementing, and strong knowledge of, Lean and Six Sigma business systems. Six sigma green or black belt certification preferred.
- Demonstrated passion for safety, customer centricity and operational excellence
- Minimum 3 years manufacturing experience in a plant
- Understanding of the interaction between operational excellence and customer service
- Excellent and effective verbal and written communication skills with people at all levels
- Track record in project or program management
- Experience of working in a multi-site and multi-cultural environment

- Proven track record of successfully attracting and hiring top engineering talent

- Strong knowledge of engineering industry trends and developments

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Proficiency in recruitment software and tools
