Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year

Job Details
This talented individual will be responsible for reviewing the general ledger and fixed assets, preparing financial statements and journal entries, and assisting with tax and audit compliance. You will thrive in this role if you have:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
CPA or MBA in Finance (preferred, not required)
5+ years working in accounting in an office environment
Experience working in the Legal industry (preferred, not required)
Experience with the CCH Axcess tax software, Aderant and/or Chrome River Invoice software systems (preferred, not required)
Excellent computer skills and with Windows-based software applications
Strong verbal and written communication, client service, and listening skills
The Senior Accountant will perform various general ledger account analysis, month end analysis of expenses for CFO and assist in the month end process, which includes reviewing and closing of the general ledger and sub-ledgers, and the issuance of monthly internal financial statements. Do you have the drive and desire to:
Compile and post journal entries to the general ledger from various departments and offices
Assist in the coordination of the firm’s fixed asset accounting, including maintaining the fixed asset software for asset additions, disposals, & calculating final and budget depreciation
Assist in the coordination and completion of the firm’s Federal and State(s) annual income tax returns, and monthly preparation of the firm’s sales/use tax return
Assist in the compiling and distribution of the firm’s annual tax package to its partners
Assist in the coordination and completion of the firm’s annual audit of its financial statements
Assist in preparing, entering, and releasing outgoing operating and trust wires as needed
