American Caging (ACI) is looking for a Senior Accountant to work directly for the owner/CEO. ACI is the escrow agent for approximately 35 non profit organizations (NPO's). Each NPO has a QuickBooks account where daily deposits and disbursements are recorded.

Responsibilities:

• Comparing on line banking activity to the deposits/disbursements in each non profit's QuickBooks register; 
• Generate weekly reports showing bank account activity for the week; 
• Reconcile each bank account at the end of each month. Send bank statement reconciliation reports to NPO's. 
• Investigate any "uncleared" transactions to determine why funds have not credited the account. 
• Direct client contact includes telephone conversations, zoom meetings, email messages with clients.

​ Qualifications:

• Previous experience in accounting or other related fields
• Fundamental knowledge of GAAP
• Experience with QuickBooks and other current computer accounting programs and reporting tools
• Detail and deadline-oriented. Must enjoy a fast-paced work environment. 
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
