Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct an immediate search for an experienced Remote Wordpress Developer for our client, a tax preparer in Columbus, OH !
What they offer: - $35-40 per hour starting wage

- 100% REMOTE
- 3-5 month contract
- Part-time ~20 hours per week
What you will be doing: - Website Design & Development: Design and develop a user-friendly, visually appealing website that aligns with the organization's mission and objectives.
- Content Updates: Regularly update website content, including events, news, blog posts, and multimedia.
- User Experience (UX) & User Interface (UI): Ensure the website provides an optimal user experience, including responsive design for mobile and tablet users.
- Site Maintenance: Troubleshoot technical issues, ensure website security, and update plugins, themes, and hosting regularly.
- SEO & Web Analytics: Implement basic SEO strategies to increase web visibility and use tools like Google Analytics to track site performance and user engagement.
- Collaboration: Work closely with staff and volunteers to ensure the website meets the needs of different departments and stakeholders.
- Branding Consistency: Ensure all web design elements adhere to the nonprofit's branding and messaging guidelines.
What you will need: - 2+ years of web design experience
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Wordpress
