We are actively hiring for a Registered Nurse (RN) opportunity at the Flourish Research site in Charlotte, NC. This site, founded as Alzheimer's Memory Center, has been contributing to medical breakthroughs in Alzheimer's research and treatment for more than 20 years!

The Registered Nurse assists the Investigators in executing Phase I, II, III, and IV clinical research trials in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), FDA and GCP guidelines, and study protocols while providing an impeccable patient experience in every, single interaction.

Shift:  Monday-Thursday, 7:30 AM - 5 PM - 36 hours/week
Compensation:  Hourly Rate based on experience + discretionary quarterly bonus eligibility

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Take and accurately record patients' vital signs.
• Document and review patient medications and maintain up-to-date medical records.
• Provide clear explanations of procedures and treatments as directed by physicians.
• Maintain a high level of safety awareness for all patients.
• Prepare patient rooms, equipment, and necessary supplies for procedures and visits.
• Call in prescriptions and schedule special tests based on physician orders.
• Address patient inquiries and provide assistance with their needs in a timely manner.
• Order and manage medical supplies to ensure smooth clinic operations.
• Return patient phone calls and provide necessary follow-up care.
• Conduct memory assessments (training will be provided).

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must have a State of North Carolina RN License
• IV experience is required
• Preferably two years of experience as an RN
• Geriatric experience is preferred but not required
• Impeccable organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with the Principal Investigator, research team, Study Sponsor/CROs, and patients.
