Job Description

Job Description

Are you a high-potential agent who needs a change of environment to reach the next level? Are you tired of being on a team in a dead-end role? Well... great news: Our team needs smart, humble, hungry agents just like you! We will help you take your career and business to the next level and provide opportunities to supplement your income through the ability to work with some of our existing clients. For this position, we are particularly looking for an agent who has at least a few years of relevant experience in the industry (ideally with buyers and sellers).

You’ll prospect regularly, cultivate strong relationships with potential clients, and provide excellent service to them as you help them navigate their real estate transactions, all while working closely with a hard-working, well-organized, and supportive top-producing team. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who isn't afraid to ask for advice or help and is eager for mentorship. You love helping people solve their problems and others enjoy working with you because of the energy you create.

This is a full-time equivalent commission-based role and our team is based in Bucktown with Compass. You have a strong background in the real estate industry and although you have well-developed skills and a strong knowledge base, you are open to building upon both.

Compensation:

$75,000 - $100,000 + at plan (entirely commission based)

Responsibilities:

There are a few key responsibilities to be on our team:

  • Provide exceptional experiences to clients and colleagues, ensuring they all enjoy very high and consistent levels of service, regardless of which team member they are working with
  • Focus on prospecting and revenue-generating activities every day, utilizing a well-organized CRM, numerous other Compass tools, and consistent, effective communication with leads and clients
  • Stay sharp by actively participating in many of the vast training opportunities available to agents on our team
  • Maintain full-time equivalent availability for clients, colleagues, and other key participants in transactions and our daily business (vacations and personal days are mandatory, but proper prep processes must be followed)
  • Respond professionally and promptly to necessary communications from clients, team members, and colleagues with appropriate parties copied
  • Actively and enthusiastically participate in the team’s daily business activities including a longer 9 AM Zoom meeting on Mondays and daily 9 AM huddles Tuesday through Friday
Qualifications:
  • Must have a valid Real Estate Broker’s License
  • Experience with the local real estate market and general trends
  • Possess a valid U.S. driver’s license and can travel by car
  • 2+ years of agent or relevant real estate experience
  • Must possess great communication and interpersonal skills
  • Be team-oriented and open to support as well as supporting others
  • Maintain a highly organized approach to the business by staying on top of your CRM and incoming communications such as emails and texts
