Radiology Technologist Lead at UCHealth summary:
The Radiology Technologist Lead at UCHealth Highlands Ranch Hospital is responsible for providing high-quality radiographic imaging and patient care. This role requires proficiency in performing and supervising radiologic procedures, as well as collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure exceptional patient outcomes. Additionally, the technologist must maintain safety and quality standards while contributing to an innovative clinical environment.

Department: HRH Diagnostic Rad
FTE: Full Time, 1.0, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)
Shift: Days
Pay: $29.54 - $44.31/ hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience
Minimum Requirements: - Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
- Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Specialty ARRT certification(s) if required for position. State licensure if required by law.
- 2 years of experience.
- BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire.

Radiography / X Ray Technologist Lead: - Reviews patient history, initiates Radiographic images based on physician order and prioritizes procedural patient education to ensure mutual understanding and cooperation
- Safely administers contrast media or associated imaging medications while monitoring patient condition
- Responds and reports changes in patient condition as appropriate
- Implements techniques to yield clarity in image, quality control and equipment functionality based on established best practices in Radiology (ARRT)
