The Product Assistant is an important member of the Product Development team. Their responsibility is to support the team efforts through their diligent organizational skills, clear and consistent communication, ability to jump in as needed and overall to bring their passion for the bicycle industry to their daily tasks. Essential Functions for this Role: Work on all Lectric bikes that are in development to ensure that they meet the critical safety and design aspects as defined by the product managers. Assist the marketing team with on/off site video and photo shoots for product accuracy. Maintain a clean shop workspace within the product development lab at Lectric HQ Organize reports based on prototype feedback and present to the product development team any findings. Assemble and document competitor products focused on the design aspect for packaging and final product. Ability to learn new software with little guidance or direction to program ebike electrical components during the development process. Troubleshoot both electrical and mechanical bike components. Technically read and write product manuals under the guidance of the product managers. Ride 10+ miles a day on an ebike in all-weather scenarios. Willingness to travel out of state as needed for testing and development purposes ( Ideal Qualifications Include: Bicycle industry experience Self-motivated and driven This individual must have a demonstrated work history of team collaboration and the ability to make their teammates feel valued. Successful candidate must be able to separate what they think versus what is needed by the market. Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively at all levels of organization. Display strong organizational skills and be able to handle multiple tasks and manage priorities in a focused but flexible manner. Must have a great attention for detail Have a valid drivers license. Be a master of Excel and data management Display strong Mechanical Proficiency with bikes Possess a love for all things cycling Physical Demands: This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers and phones. The team member frequently communicates with internal team members, investors and vendors. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use of hands and fingers, handle, or feel, reach above head with hands and arms, lift, push, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl, pull, talk and hear. Occasionally moves items p to 65 lbs. for various projects. Compensation: Base salary negotiable (depending on experience) An annual bonus percentage that varies based on level of experience.
