Job DescriptionThe Pressure Washer position also known as power washing, uses high-pressure water to remove dirt, dust, mold, grime. Pay: $18.00-$19.00 an hour The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicant's experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data. For information about ABM's benefits, visit ABM 2024 Employee Benefits | Front Line Team Members | (Programa de Beneficios de ABM) Essential Functions Cleaning: Using pressure washers to clean surfaces like driveways, windows, gutters, and siding Preparing: Checking that equipment, chemicals, hoses, and tools are in good condition and stocked Meeting clients: Understanding clients' needs and reviewing completed work with them Maintaining: Keeping equipment in good working order and storing hoses and equipment properly Cleans and maintains buildings/facilities. Performs heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish. Notifies managers concerning the need for minor or major repairs or additions to building operating systems Establishes and maintains effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, managers, etc. Complies with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities Cleaner must be flexible and willing to complete all tasks that are assigned. Responsibilities Cleans building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them. Follows procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures. Position may require to lift up to 50lb's and maneuver heavy machinery and "fire hose" style water hoses. Position requires you to be able to walk up and down stairs for up to 8 hours on any given day. Must be flexible to work shifts as early as 1am to 5am Must be able to work weekends and holidays Must be willing to work independently Moves cabinets, boxes, furniture, crates and equipment to clean areas, either manually or by using hand trucks May remove stains from such surfaces as rugs, carpets and floors using chemicals and cleaning solutions. May also sweep walks, or rake leaves. Must keep janitor's closet neat and orderly and maintain equipment in good working order Requisitions supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties Drives vehicles (if required) to perform or travel to cleaning work, including vans, industrial trucks, or industrial vacuum cleaners May be expected to make basic repairs Miscellaneous duties as assigned Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older Must have at least 1 year experience as a Pressure washer or similar position Preferred Qualifications: Customer Service Experience Military and veteran friendly employer, veterans and candidates with military experience encouraged to apply.About UsABM (NYSE: ABM) is one of the world's largest providers of facility services and solutions.
