Job Details:

Plant Manager | Permanent In-Plant position | $150,000 to $180,000 + Bonus

This is a direct-hire role for a  seasoned  professional who has run fabrication, welding, and assembly operations producing engineered-to-order industrial machinery. You will have control of the horizontal and the vertical from the plants overall P&L, safety of all workers, production, maintenance, engineering, shipping, and administrative personnel through your management team.

Qualifications Needed are:

• Bachelor's Degree with a preference toward Engineering.
• Ten (10) or more years of experience in High-Mix Low-Volume (HMLV) Manufacturing operations. Examples are shipyards, structural steel fabricators, plants producing large turbines (rotating equipment), industrial or commercial boilers and furnaces, or skid-mounted or fixed pressure vessels for LNG, industrial gasses, cryogenics, or chemical plants, or even job-shops doing made to order commercial automotive projects, or agricultural equipment manufacturing.
• At least 4 years of Plant Management or Operations management experience in factories producing engineered-to-order low-volume high-mix equipment.
• Strong applied understanding of the timelines, steel supply chains, and budgeting of these types of projects. *Previous experience as a project manager would be very valuable.
• A strong, demonstrable track record in, and commitment to safety.
• Permanent United States Residency or US Citizenship is Required.
