Job Description

Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Mill Machinist to join their team. As a Mill Machinist, you will be part of the production department supporting a skilled team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Mill Machinist

Location: Longwood, FL

Pay Range: Starting at $23+ per hour, depending on experience

What's the Job?

• Load and unload raw materials efficiently.
• Utilize gages and measuring instruments to ensure precision and meet tolerance requirements.
• Reduce setup and machining time through innovative process improvements.
• Inspect completed work for conformance to specifications using various measuring tools.
• Perform daily maintenance and cleaning of company equipment to ensure optimal functionality.

What's Needed?

• 3-5 years of CNC Mills experience.
• Proficiency in reading and understanding blueprints.
• Ability to operate lathes and/or mills with minimal assistance.
• Knowledge of various CNC controls and M and G code.
• Strong mathematical skills for calculations related to machining.
