High-profile and expanding Plaintiff’s personal injury law firm located in Manhattan’s Financial District seeks a Managing Attorney and an Assistant Managing Attorney to help lead our team. Our firm is one of the top-rated and most successful personal injury firms in New York. The firm has some of the highest profile cases along with some of the largest verdicts and settlements in our field.

The Managing Attorney/ Assistant Managing Attorney will have leadership responsibility and will help manage the litigation of the firm. The ideal candidate will help manage a large staff of associate attorneys and legal staff while contributing to the smooth operations of the Firm. EXCEPTIONAL salary, potential for commissions on case settlements, bonuses on meditations settlements, etc. Fully in-office Monday-Friday.

Responsibilities:

• Accountable for the litigation of the firm.
• Oversee and implement firm wide protocols.
• Ensure compliance with case progression metrics.
• Responsible for the firm wide calendar.
• Direct law office operations, case assignments and staffing.
• Facilitate the development, motivation, retention, and performance of Associate Attorney’s and Litigation Paralegals.
• Identify and pursue ways to improve efficiency.
• Develop and implement litigation strategies.
• Mentor staff to establish prima facie case on all litigated matters.
• Stay current with relevant changes in State and Federal law.
• Mentor and coach Associate Attorneys and paralegals.
• Provide for the smooth functioning of the office.
• Ensure excellent service by advising clients on the status of their cases.

​​ Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in Plaintiff's Personal Injury litigation including but not limited to premises, labor law, and motor vehicle cases.
• Proven track record in the supervision and management of attorneys and legal staff.
• Excellent Leadership abilities
