We are currently searching for a Loan Officer. In this role you will be building a rapport with prospects and clients, analyzing the borrower’s financial situations, and structuring loans that meet clientele goals as well as appropriate guidelines. Our License Loan Officers work in a fast-paced, sales environment speaking to clients across the United States.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Licensed Lending Officers receive approximately 30+ leads from multiple lead sources including our servicing portfolio weekly
• Develop and execute an effective prospecting plan for repeat business
• Our experienced Processors will take the loan to the finish line, allowing our Licensed Lending Officers to focus on new originations
• Maximize opportunities to take loan applications upon receipt of “warm transfers” from our Loan Servicing Department and other paid lead sources
• Build a rapport with prospects and clients, analyze financial situations, structure loans that meet clientele goals as well as appropriate guidelines
• Offer pricing quotes, request initial documents from clients, and submit clean and complete documentation packages when passing the loan-to-Loan Processing
• Maintain an up-to-date sales pipeline, while enjoying our high ratio of Loan Processing to Sales (which allows you to focus on Production not Processing)
• Other duties as assigned ability for self-lead generation and a book of business including Real Estate Agents as a requirement.
• Traveling is possible and attending tradeshows.

• Excellent follow up and communication skills with borrowers, internal partners & teammates
• Ability to multi-task and always provide swift responses to inquiries and other follow-up questions

Education and/or Experience
• Two years mortgage experience in a Non-Prime/Non-QM sales environment
• Active NMLS license preferably in CA, FL, PA, WA, GA, AZ, NV, TX, and TN
• Preferably 8+ active licenses
• High School Graduate or Equivalent

Language Skills
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer Skills
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc).
