*Seeking a Vet Tech Supervisor!*

VCA Adirondack Animal Hospital is seeking a full time *Licensed Veterinary Technician* *Supervisor* to join and lead our vet tech team! We are a 3 doctor, AAHA accredited, newly renovated, full service hospital in beautiful Queensbury, NY! We are proud to have served the greater Glens Falls community for over 40 years and committed to cultivating and maintaining the human/animal bond as a cornerstone of our patient care. As a member of the VCA Adirondack team, you will support Technician and Doctor teams by creating a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our clients and patients. You’ve worked hard for your credentials (CVT, RVT, LVT) and we want you to use the knowledge that you’ve invested your time and talent in. The skills that you will be utilizing include, but are not limited to:
* Physical examinations and patient assessment
* Anesthesia monitoring

In the supervisor role, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

Directing work flow on the floor
* Assists in the educational development of technicians and their skills
* Help with the interview process for potential new hires
* Technician Scheduling
* Assists in staffing and coverage where needed
* Assists in basic protocol and standard procedure training
* Provide opportunities for staff to gain more firsthand experience
* Mentoring technicians within the department
* Working with department doctors to develop protocols to improve the service
* Ensure that VCA polices, guidelines, and recommendations are implemented by all members of the technical staff.

*The salary range for this position is $24-$26 / hour depending on experience*
