Description:
Summary: The primary function of the IT Technician is to install, configure, and maintain company technology to include Point of Sale systems, Fuel Monitoring systems, Media Displays, Computers, and Networks.

Company Vehicle Provided

Training provided for C-Store specific technology.

Requirements:
Education/Experience
1. High School Education and 5 years' experience in information technology; or
2. Vocational degree/diploma and 2 years of in information technology; or
3. Equivalent combination of education and experience.
4. CompTIA A+ Certification or equivalent experience;
5. Comp TIA Net+ Certification or equivalent experience;
6. Proficient with Windows 10/11;
7. Prior experience in retail/convenience store industry and/or wholesale/petroleum distribution industry preferred.

Licensing/Registration/Certification
1. Class E driver's license.

Additional Info:
General Duties:
1. Install and configure VeriFone POS system in C-Store environments;
2. Diagnose and repair Gilbarco and Wayne fuel dispensers
3. Ability to troubleshoot common hardware/software issues;
4. Ability to research and diagnose computer problems and discern what level of support is needed when a problem is presented;
5. Ability to meet deadlines and adjust to changing priorities;
6. Ability to work autonomously but also able to recognize when help is needed;
7. Ability to quickly gain new skills and knowledge when faced with new challenges;
8. Ability to work as a team in stressful situations; maintain composure in the face of heavy workload and constant interruptions;
9. Adhere to all safety rules and/or precautions;
