Job Description

QuickVisit Urgent Care is a rapidly growing clinic group bringing accessible, affordable healthcare to rural communities in Texas and Iowa. We are looking for an experienced healthcare recruiter to assist with staffing needs in our Texas and Iowa Clinics! You'll be working in a fast-paced environment alongside management and other operations team members. Your primary focus will be head hunting for clinical personnel and providers in Iowa. Recruiting for our team will require a strong sense of urgency, initiative, and drive to get quality candidates to join our team.

 

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate commitment and behavior aligned with the philosophy, mission, values and vision of the company.
  • Sourcing of employees for specific assignments using recruitment software 
  • Collaborative approach to working with managers and other team members
  • Creatively network
  • Strongly pursue both active and passive candidates
  • Manage multiple avenues of correspondence (email, voicemail, texting platform)
  • Responsible for initial screening of applications and resumes, interviewing candidates, completing reference checks, evaluating candidates and making recommendations for hire
  • Negotiate pay and other compensation terms with candidates.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws
  • Performs other duties as assigned 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Adapts quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to ask/answer open ended questions
  • Analytical skills, detail oriented and proactive approach to problem solving
  • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects and work under pressure while maintaining a professional and positive attitude
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Familiar with recruitment software (JazzHR)
  • Able to look for ways to improve processes and create efficiencies
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Proficient skills with computers, software and office equipment required.

Education and Experience:

  • 1 year of healthcare recruitment (or similar industry) is required
  • 2 Years of healthcare mid-level recruitment is preferred
  • Bachelors degree in relatable field preferred
