The Grant Manager will work closely with the YWCA North Central Indiana Vice President of Grant Administration and the management team to meet the organization's needs. The Grant Manager should be able to communicate clearly in both written and verbal communication, have strong analytical and project management skills, have an understanding of fiscal reports and post-award financial management of grants, and work independently.
Reporting Relationship This position reports directly to the Vice President of Grant Administration.

Responsibilities and Essential Functions - Responsible for managing government-funded post-award grant management, nonprofit financial management, and regulatory compliance monitoring and oversight.
- Strong writing, organizational, administrative, and project coordination skills and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities.
- Proven ability to effectively communicate (both verbally and in writing), exercise sound judgment, ask questions, and be open to the input and decisions of others
- Able to work both independently and collaboratively, solve problems, make decisions, and support change
- Oversee the post-award project management of each grant, including draws and supporting documentation
- Communicates with other YWCANCIN staff members about requirements, reporting, spending down funding, and other grant-related communication.
- Assist in maintaining electronic and paper records related to grant files, as well as updating the grants calendar with relevant deadlines and tasks
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Experience and Skills Education and Experience - Bachelor's Degree in a related field and at least two years of grant writing and project management
- Consideration will be given to those who have extensive grant-related experience.
Knowledge and Ability - Knowledge and experience with grant funding and administration of grants, cooperative agreements, and contracts are required
- At least two years of experience in government-funded post-award grant management, nonprofit financial management, and regulatory compliance monitoring and oversight.
- Computer, Internet, and general proficiency with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel is required
- Attention to detail, organization, and time management
- General knowledge of the grant cycle with special emphasis given to post-award responsibilities
- Curious mind with an appetite for research and continuous learning
