About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director for its assisted living community. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management and success of the community, including the hiring, recruiting, and training of team members, as well as ensuring that residents receive care in accordance with the company's philosophy of service. This hands-on role requires a current Texas Assisted Living Certification, a passion for seniors, and the ability to create and maintain a positive atmosphere for residents, families, visitors, and team members. The Executive Director will also be involved in administrative tasks, budget and financial leadership, and must be prepared to work in a 24/7 capacity. Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company's assisted living community should have 2-5 years' of experience in long-term care, assisted living, the hospital industry, or a related human service field, with a focus on supervisory and management experience. The role demands excellent customer service, the ability to handle multiple priorities, and a commitment to making responsible choices in the best interest of the residents. The ideal candidate will have a background in working with seniors, be adept at directing the work of others, and possess strong communication, organizational, and time management skills. The Executive Director will be expected to complete state training requirements and become well-versed in the company's philosophy, principles of service, and policies and procedures.
