AGING AT HOME CAREGIVING is is a company that provides GERIATRIC CHRONIC ILLNESS CARE at home so that older adults with chronic illnesses can STAY HOME (rather than move into a long term facility...if the choice is to stay home) and be cared for in a dignified and life enhancing manner.
We specialize in post hospital, post rehab care especially for those who have lost their ability to walk or take care of themselves due to a medical incident or from spending too much time in a hospital bed.
Our clients are retired seniors and executives who want to live life on their own terms no matter what their diagnosis and medical records say.
Some of our clients live inside of retirement communities and we take our services into their suites or condos.
We go wherever the clients need us to go or wherever the client calls HOME.
It's a pretty cool system for providing elder care and we are very famous for what we do.
We are looking to grow our team because we are adding new clients and that is where you come in.
We are looking for 5 live enhancement Home Care Aide who can work flexible shifts, short shifts, part time or full time.
A life enhancement Home Care Aide is a caregiver who has been trained by a nurse or a recreational therapy professional to provide personal care, supportive living services, mental stimulation, and recreational activities.
CERTIFIED AS A NURSE'S AIDE OR HOME HEALTH AIDE BUT DO NOT HAVE EXPERIENCE YET? No problem because we offer in house and on the job training.

MINIMUM EDUCATION
Home health aide approved training class with a certificate of completion. Equivalent training class for home care aide for 5 equivalent years of experience and the ability to pass a required written and skills competency test. Must be a high school graduate or have completed GED or two years of current experience required. CA Caregiver Registration (HCA) If not already obtained.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
Able to effectively communicate with all levels of the workforce, both clinical and non-clinical.
Able to perform and prioritize multiple functions or tasks.
Able to stand, bend, stoop, squat, kneel and reach freely.
Able to freely lift up to 25 pounds daily care, 50 lbs of physical capacity, floor to waist.
Able to assist patients with standing, walking, sitting and rolling in bed.
Able to read and interpret technical instructions related to the care of the patient/client.
Able to visually and auditorily observe and assess the patient.
Evidence of an annual TB test, completion of assessment form and other state required tests.
Must be 18 years of age.

Availability to work evenings, holidays and weekends
