POSITION SUMMARY

Vistage seeks a strategy expert and results-oriented leader to drive the growth of our strategic planning offering and related strategy products. The Director of Strategy Products is responsible for leading the rollout of our newest product line, driving adoption across our CEO coaches and CEO member community, and delivering financial growth towards Vistage’s goals. This role will work closely with the Chief Product and Strategy Officer and across multiple organizational levels to ensure goals are achieved. The person filling this position will have the following qualities:

THE VISTAGE DIRECTOR OF STRATEGY & PRODUCTS POSITION

RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategy Products:

• Strategic Planning by Vistage: Lead the final development, rollout, and growth of our newest product, Strategic Planning by Vistage, across various formats (in-group discussion, digital experience, workshop experience) to drive adoption, improve member retention, and achieve revenue goals.
• New Product Development: Collaborate with Vistage executives to build out a product pipeline serving SMB CEOs and lead new products through build, buy, or partner strategies

Corporate Development:

• Deal Pipeline: Conduct market research, screen potential acquisition targets, and maintain our funnel of active targets
• Acquisitions: Lead cross-functional team ensuring alignment on investment thesis, key diligence areas, and post-acquisition operating plan

Strategy Thought Leader:

• Strategy Expert: Bring corporate strategy experience and expertise to the Vistage community, providing educational resources and training that drive the adoption and application of strategy products.
• CEO-led Strategy: Partner with Vistage executives to identify opportunities for innovation and support international team on global product rollout to deliver full value of Vistage to CEO members around the world.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years of demonstrated strategy experience, with proven success in consulting or related strategy role
• Strong understanding of the needs and challenges CEOs and senior leadership teams face.
• Effective communicator who can engage with senior-level stakeholders and convey complex ideas simply and persuasively.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver projects on tight deadlines.
• Track record of taking ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
• Ability to manage relationships with CEO-level clients and partners, and interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with high attention to detail.
• Strong team player, who can collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and values varied perspectives to dervise optimal solutions.
• Servant leader with uncompromising integrity who embraces the Vistage values of trust, caring, challenge, and growth.
• Extensive experience building financial models in Excel and presentations in PowerPoint.
• Consulting experience and MBA preferred.

TOTAL COMPENSATION RANGE

$105,000 - $120,000 Salary + 15% Bonus (salary based in San Diego, CA)

Hybrid in San Diego; 2 days onsite, 3 days offsite
