Description

Muscogee Staffing Solutions are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Deli Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers while preparing and serving high-quality deli products. You will play a key role in maintaining food safety standards and ensuring a clean and inviting environment for our guests.

Duties

1. Greet customers warmly and assist them with their deli selections.

2. Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions accurately.

3. Prepare and serve deli items, including meats, cheeses, salads, and sandwiches.

4. Maintain food safety and hygiene standards in accordance with company policies.

5. Upsell products to enhance the customer experience and increase sales.

6. Keep the deli area clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times.

7. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operation of the deli section.

8. Cooking in a area with hot Grease, working with deep Fryers.

9. Experience with Inventory and keeping up with what you have and what you will need.

10. Scale up prices.

Qualifications

1. Previous experience in food service or a deli environment is preferred.

2. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.

3. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions effectively.

4. Familiarity with cash handling procedures and operating a POS system.

5. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques is a plus.

6. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

7. A team player who is willing to assist others as needed in a collaborative setting.
