Adecco Staffing is working with a high-level manufacturing facility in Peterborough, NH who is looking to hire additional CNC Machine Setup Operators on all shifts! This is a temp to hire opportunity.

Job Title : 

• CNC Machine Setup Operator

Pay Rate

• Pay Rate :

• 1st Shift: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour based on previous experience
• 2nd Shift: $23.00 - $28.25 per hour based on previous experience
• 3rd Shift: $23.00 - $28.25 per hour based on previous experience

Schedule:

• 1st Shift: 7:00am to 3:30pm Monday – Friday, OT available.
• 2nd Shift: 3:30pm to 2:00am Monday – Thursday, OT available.
• 3rd Shift: 11:00pm to 7:00am Sunday – Thursday, OT available.

Job Summary: 

Sets up and operates multiple CNC machines with efficiency to produce components to specified dimensions and characteristics according to quality standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Set up and operate CNC machines to perform job tasks, including adding or removing parts, to create the correct tool to manufacture the parts in accordance with the Shop Order.
• Use micrometers, verniers, optical comparator, microscope, and a variety of fixed and adjustable gauges to set-up equipment and check work.
• Operate 2 required CNC machines to produce a diversified range of parts on short or long run work, and exacting finish specifications.
• Follow established procedures, verbal instructions, and information obtained from set-up cards and layout sheets (certified process or engineered cycles) to ensure parts are manufactured as ordered. In process readings to ensure adherence to tolerance
• Diagnose and correct operating difficulties, maintain required records, detect and report unusual conditions to assigned leader.
• Keep work area clean and orderly, observing all safety rules and regulations, and conforming to OSHA regulations. Move materials, parts, and containers, as required, to complete job duties.
• Train new team members as assigned.

Job Skills & Abilities:

• Read and understand product blueprint/specification sheets from engineering department
• Read, reference and interpret written and verbal instructions; always following established standard procedures
• Maintain established production levels and quality standards
• Recognize and report any irregularities as to fits, defective parts, finishes, work techniques and/or quality of workmanship
• Maintain necessary records; work is subject to audited inspections

Education and Experience: Physical Requirements: 

• HS Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Manufacturing Grind Operator or Setup role
