Job Details

We are on the lookout for a detail-oriented CMM Programmer to join our innovative team! You will be responsible for programming and operating Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to measure and inspect our aerospace components. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of GD&T fundamentals, precision measurements, and AS9100 standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement CMM programs to inspect precision machined parts, ensuring compliance with design specifications and customer requirements.
  • Operate and maintain CMM equipment to perform inspections and measurements.
  • Interpret GD&T and apply it to CMM inspection and programming.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to understand product specifications and develop appropriate inspection processes.
  • Analyze inspection results, identify trends, and provide feedback to improve manufacturing processes.
  • Ensure all inspection and measurement activities comply with AS9100 and other relevant industry standards.
  • Train and mentor junior staff on CMM programming and operation.
  • Continually evaluate and recommend improvements to inspection processes and equipment to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience as a CMM Programmer (preferably in the aerospace industry).
  • Bachelor's degree (preferred but not required).
  • Proficient in CMM programming and operating Coordinate Measuring Machines.
  • Strong knowledge of GD&T fundamentals and precision measurement techniques.
  • Experience with AS9100 standards and aerospace components.
  • Knowledge of metrology problem solving.
