Job Description
Fast paced, privately owned podiatry office is seeking a full time Clinical Practice Manager. The ideal candidate must possess strong interpersonal skills, excellent computer skills, solid supervisory and leadership skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to take initiative and exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise, and be able to understand and apply guidelines and policies.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Coordination with the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Executive Officer/owner of day-to-day clinic flow, monitors the activities of all clinic protocol components to ensure compliance with its goals and objectives
- Provide training & supervision of medical assistant staff
- Assist physicians and medical assistant staff when needed
- Development & adherence of clinic policy & procedure protocols
- Meet with & vet new vendors & products
- Monitors quality measures and outcomes
- Maintain day-to-day patient flow, monitor and prioritize workflow and schedules
- Ensure services are in compliance with professional standards, OSHA, state and federal regulatory requirements
- Provide leadership within the clinic setting in order to ensure effective, efficient office operations, optimizing performance and providing quality of care to our patients
- Conducts weekly inventory and ordering of DME & medical supplies
- Acts as a liaison with outside agencies, service bureaus, and businesses
- Maintains responsibility for testing & performance of equipment
- Reports to COO on issues involving clinic operations, workflow, patient experiences and employee relations
- Must be available to travel between locations
