About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead its financial strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for all financial management and reporting activities, including overseeing accounting, compliance, and the preparation of detailed financial statements. The CFO will also lead the budgeting process, develop financial forecasts, and manage cash flow and capital to ensure the company's financial stability. A key aspect of the role is strategic planning, where the CFO will partner with the executive team to provide financial analysis and insights to support business growth and evaluate new opportunities.
Applicants for the CFO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, with a preference for CPA, CMA, or MBA qualifications. A minimum of 7 years experience in finance or accounting, including at least 3 years in a leadership role, is required. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in wholesale and retail finance, experience in M&A diligence, and a proven track record of managing finance functions within a startup or high-growth environment. Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems is essential, and experience with QuickBooks, Xero, or similar platforms is a plus. The role demands excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills, as well as a proactive, hands-on approach to work in a fast-paced setting. Travel Percent
