Location: 440 College Park Drive, Monroeville, PA - 15146
Type: 1 year contract on W2
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:00pm. Weekend OT is typically voluntary but could become mandatory if needed.
PPE: Any required PPE will be supplied by the client. Opportunity to be converted to PPG employee for the right fit.
Preferred Qualifications:
Education not required but candidates with an associate or bachelor's degree in the science field is preferred.
Experience in a manufacturing setting, cleanroom environment, or lab setting is beneficial.
Enjoys being on their feet and working with their hands for most of the day.
Job Overview:

Under direct supervision, performs a variety of routine laboratory operations in a quality assurance or research setting.
Duties include making measurements, performing several routine quantitative and qualitative biological or chemical analytical tests according to standard procedures.
Assists higher level technicians in setup of laboratory equipment and in recording data for experiments and procedures.
Requires knowledge in using various instruments to prepare for and perform tests.
Performs routine and safety program checks and preventive maintenance on instruments.

This is an entry-level position.
Typically requires a high school education or equivalent and no prior experience.
