The Campus-Life Coordinator/Academic Coach (CLC) will be part of the OASIS Program team, a program that works with neuro-diverse students at the college level. The CLC is responsible for a caseload of students within the OASIS Program throughout fall, spring and summer sessions, along with oversight of the campus-life component of the OASIS Program. The CLC will meet with a caseload of students daily to provide academic coaching specific to their unique learning profiles along with collaborating and consulting with Social Coordinator, Housing Coordinator, and Social Workers within OASIS. The CLC will will also ensure consistency among social and residential programs between the two campuses and work with the OASIS Housing Coordinator/Academic Coach to plan residential living arrangements, support students in the residence halls, and educate and support residential staff. Lastly, work directly with with Social Coordinator/Academic Coach and students (families as appropriate) to oversee adjustment to college life and facilitate their engagement in campus activities.

Position Duties

• Meet with a caseload of students daily. Keep an updated binder on each student as per the OASIS standard.
• Follow protocol on communication with professors and parents.
• Assure all student accommodations are in place.
• Work with Educational Coordinator on student registration.
• Consult with Social Worker on emotional issues.
• Communicate with Program Director and Sr. Associate Director on any issues related to academic, social, emotional issues with students.
• Collaborate with housing coordinator and social coordinator to ensure social and residential programs are delivered with continuity.
• Attend three day summer training workshop. Attend weekly staff meetings.
• Work with Residential Life with regard to OASIS students who live on campus.
• Support students in the residence halls and support residential staff.
• Work directly with students to facilitate their engagement in campus activities.
• Create and facilitate weekly social activities.
• Perform other such duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Position Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• At least two years of experience working alongside neurodivergent students.

Work Hours

Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, additional hours as needed.
