Overview:

Mos Eisley is seeking spirited and knowledgeable Bar Manager to join the fastest growing spaceport venue in Tatooine! As integral part of the site management team, our Bar Manager is responsible for a group of 50+ Associates (bartenders and barbacks). In the role, you will be the chief motivator, provide direction, mentoring, in the moment coaching and training for hourly associates assigned to the team or working on the shifts assigned. This key site leadership opportunity is a hands-on, table touching, results driven position.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of restaura.nt management experience.
• Up to date knowledge of local liquor and server licensing/certification requirements.
• Extensive knowledge and training in the bar with the proven ability to train others in areas such as: safe serving, pouring, flavors/product origins/products, guest engagement and appropriate interaction.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and organization skills.
• Team player with energetic and enthusiastic personality

Responsibilities:

• Advocate Guest satisfaction through modeling the right behaviors for your team! Create a positive and upbeat atmosphere of engagement for our guests and associates.
• Ensure all beverages are kept in the appropriate environment and in good condition (and no, you cant drink them just to make sure!)
• Provide in the moment coaching, on-going development/action plans and performance management for the assigned managers and associates to support and foster exceptional performance resulting in a positive impact upon our guests experience!!!
• Superior project and task management skills.
• Build relationships with team at all levels, acting as the conduit of collaboration between FOH and BOH.
• Conduct weekly beverage inventory, collaborate with F&B Manager on ordering and receiving tasks (includes cleaning and thermal supplies, liquor, beer, and wine).
• Work with F&B Manager to foster strong 3rd party national and local vendor relationships.
• Oversight for bartender and barback schedules, training and on-going development.
• Ensure readiness for internal and external audits such as: Alcohol Awareness, Safety / Sanitation, Health Inspection, Safety Training/Certification, Everclean, etc
• Opening and closing tasks such as checklist completion, cash handling and deposits.
