What We Are Looking For:

We are looking for an Audio Visual (AV) Intern to join our team for Summer 2025. In this role, you will do work that matters to Bandwidth and gain corporate/enterprise audio visual experience that will be an invaluable foundation for your audio visual or technology career. Communication is key at Bandwidth. Your job is to assist Bandmates in effortlessly communicating.

At Bandwidth, we have an 800 person world class event venue and 130+ conference rooms with granular automation & control, 20+ conference rooms in worldwide locations, multiple LED and multi-display video walls that you will assist in managing the technology and providing event support for.

You will support developers, sales, marketing, senior leadership, IT support and engineers, and a variety of other top tier professionals on a daily basis. You will become comfortable using technology such as NDI, Dante audio, Tricaster, auto tracking cameras, Extron automation and monitoring tools, biamp audio systems, and Brightsign media players. Training will be provided, as needed.

What Youll Do:

• Coordinate and lead Audio Visual and conferencing technical support for onsite corporate events hosted by Bandwidth.
• Frequently coordinate, plan, and lead events with all levels of internal customers ranging from: C-level executives, event coordinators, programmers/developers and non-technical professionals.
• Support Google Meet, Cisco Webex, Zoom, MSFT Teams, GoToWebinar, BYOD, and combination room conferencing systems as required by business needs.
• Install and support digital signage for team dashboards, room scheduling displays, wireless HDMI presentation devices, and digital whiteboard technologies.
• Document and implement Audio Visual process and procedures based on internal requirements provided by stakeholders.
• Work with and build strong relationships with outside vendors as needed.
• Execute other duties as assigned.

What You Need:

• Working towards a Bachelors degree in Information Technology or equivalent 
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to interact comfortably with all levels of management
• Fundamental audio visual understanding (basic audio, video, & conferencing concepts) and IT concepts
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and platforms.
• Attention to detail

Bonus Points:

• 1-2 years experience in commercial/professional Audio Visual installation and troubleshooting
• 3+ years Audio Visual live event support
• Understanding of more advanced audio, video, conferencing and IT concepts. Including but not limited to: Gain structure, causes of feedback & methods of mitigation, video resolution and codecs, USB, network bandwidth utilization, latency, etc.
